I saw this post about Judy on the Family Matters board and I thought I'd make a similar thread here about Chuck. Do you think it would have worked if they mentioned Chuck after his departure in Season 2, for the next 9 years the show was on, but just never have him there? They could make references to him like they did about Richie during the last 4 years. They seemed to mention Richie a lot after he left. If they would have done this with Chuck, he would have remained mysterious but in a different way. He'd be the son you always heard about but never saw. What do you all think?

i wouldn't have minded that - it wouldve been EASY to just say that he went off to college...

and they could have brought him back when richie left..

I wish they would have metioned Chuck too! It was so bizzare that they didn't!
