Hola!

If Frasier and Niles' father was a cop (and thus from a working class, non-rich family) why did the two brothers sound and act like snooty aristocratic snobs?
How did their father (on a cops salary) afford to send these two to college? Was this ever mentioned?

(As you can tell, I only watched one or two episodes of Frasier, although I think Kelsey Grammar is an excellent actor)

They took after their mother, who was a cultured psychiatrist.

Don't know the answer to the second question though, sorry.

the first was answered, but to the second one maybe they had scholarships?....who knows...

With their grades and musical talents (both played piano, sang, etc.) it seems they would have qualified for scholarships. We aren't told how much their mom made, but it must have been a good amount. Niles and Fraiser talked about going to other countries during their college years. That was not something you could do on a cops's salary back in those days.
