First of all, that temp job I was going to do at that internet company in customer service, I decided not to do it. I was going to start A LOT later than I thought I would and the closer it came for me to start I really started to get nervous and I really did NOT want to do the job, like I thought I did.

So, I applied at a few places the past few days and already have 2 interviews. One is at a natural foods store called Outpost Natural Foods (interview on Friday) and the other is at a Pet Hospital/Vet Clinic as a receptionist! I really really really would LOVE to get the latter one I said. I love animals and I think it would be so much fun to work around them. The hours are really good too. The other one would be good too, because I actually have experience in that area. The job is for either deli clerk or cashier.

I really hope I'm offered at least one of them. Both would be great, but bad because I'll have to decide between the 2!

I'm going to be so relieved when I get a new job ( PERMANANT one) and can stop looking. I hate filling out applications and looking for jobs.

Good luck! The latter sounds better because you'll be working behind a desk and have a lesser chance of getting stuck working weekends.

The latter one sounds awesome, but i'm sure either one will be great!

I had my first interview today and it went very well. I was a little disapointed at first when I found out the pay starts at $6.90/hr. I want to make a little more than that, but I just end up taking it if I don't get the other one. My mom says most jobs like that at that rate or around it and then you get a raise and work your way up. She says I was being too persnickety (picky!) I guess I was because at my Brewers job I get paid $7.55. I'll have to see how much the vet job pays too.

I've thought of working at an animal clinic because I'm wild about animals myself. What has stopped me is knowing that I would see sick animals, and worse, owners would bring their animals in to be put down. I couldn't take that.

As for the Natural Food store, you can work your way up in those places. My brother has been working at Trader Joes for about four years now. His pay was lousy at first, but two promotions later, he's making 60 grand a year. He's a manager now.

Good luck and keep us posted. :)

You changed your name? I just noticed that in your sig. It's so hard to keep up with everyone's name changes.

One member has had almost seven name changes. I've had three.
That's why I said "everyones". It's very hard to keep up. I don't know who's who anymore.
