Well actually that picture might have not been taken when the whole Suzanne thing was going on. You have to remember that it might have been taken in Season 4 or something. But anyway, I don't really think he looks sad..but more desirable. ;) Maybe they wanted John to give a sexy look or something.

Look at the facial expressions of Joyce and Suzanne; they're supposed to have that "sexy" look going on and it is WORKING....LOL
