Though I was and continue to be very saddened with all the tragedies in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, I did not personally know any of the victims in New Orleans. The destruction that could be left in the aftermath of Hurricane Rita is very much more close to home for me. My two best friends here at SO live in the Houston, Texas area which lies directly in the path of Rita. I know many other of my fellow SO members are also in danger from Rita and I just wanted everyone of you to know that you are all in my prayers and I hope that you all remain safe and sound.

I hope they all leave... learn from the mistakes made during Katrina, and EVACUATE!

Just for the record...Houston is not "directly in the path of Rita" It is on the north side of where Rita will go in by about 100 miles. They will get hit by the tornadoes and all, but they are not in the direct path.
