During the beginning of the 67-68 season Meredith was strutting a short hair do. All of the sudden in later eps, she has long hair.Does anyone know if she was wearing a wig or not?

hi thomas,i believe that was a wig meredith was wearing because it looked too set and artificial,although that long hair might have been a fall because on a game show years ago meredith admitted that the front part was hers and the lenghty part in the back was fake. cheers,Philip.

That sounds about right.

I think that the wig actually was kind of realistic looking, but I bet that if you were on the set, you would know that it was a wig. Her hair is probably nice even without the wig anyway.
