Is it just me or did on Sunday's Emmy telecast while saluating Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather, and the late Peter Jennings that was the one and only standing ovation that the Emmy Awards and stars gave?
Because it was really pretty long, about five minutes.
As it was so, so sweet that Dan & Tom acknowledge their late colleague and that they still, despite being rivals, were friends.
I think that was the only thing that was positive about the awards telecast was acknowledging legends of the news.
As we will never, ever see another three like those men ever again.
In tv news heaven, Peter Jennings is saluating his colleagues from the skies saying "Well done Tom and Dan! Well, done!"
