Nancy Valen has to be the most beautiful, breath-taking, and sexiest woman to ever appear on "Saved by the Bell" (guest starring or regular). She had that cute smile, that big, raven hair, and her gorgeous legs. Her appearance as the hot new school nurse that Zack has a crush on, is far and away my favorite episode of SBTB ever. Not only was she beautiful, she was also very sweet and personable. Zack got so caught up with his infactuation with Nurse Jennifer (Nancy Valen's character), that he starts to neglect and ignore Kelly.
Ultimately, Slater and Jessie rats Zack out to Jennifer about his poor treatment of Kelly. So Jennifer decides to turn the tables on Zack by luring him into the nurse's office and try to seduce him (although I always wondered if the school nurse coming onto a student was illegal). I am so damn jealous of Mark-Paul Gosselaar for getting the chance to have Nancy Valen come on to him.
The moment that Zack enters the office looking for Jennifer, she rips open the white curtain behind her (that already had my heart racing). Jennifer decided for her "appointment" with Zack to look simulaneously foxy, glamorous, and prim and proper. Instead of her standard short, white nurse dress and white high-heeled pumps, Jennifer decides to wear a purple pocket t-shirt with a big black belt over it, purple hoop earrings, a tube black mini skirt, black panty hose, and black high-heeled pumps. At the same time, Jennifer decides to look semi-professional has her long black hair tied up with a long stick, and her white medical coat.
So Jennifer then walks over to lock the door (libido alert number two) and tell Zack that it's "rather warm in here don't you think!?" While telling Zack about it being warm, she slowly takes off her coat. What follows next is what really sent my over the edge. Jennifer walks over to the medical couch, slides her butt on it, takes a deep sigh, removes the stick that was holding her hair up, whips her neck, shakes out her now undone hair, and then flips it. After letting her hair down, Jennifer says "that's much better!!!" Now if I was in Zack's position, I would likely be on the verge of a heart attack.
Jennifer then takes her hair and puts it over her right shoulder while telling Zack that she can't stop thinking about him. She next, gets Zack into admitting that he likes her. Jennifer soon approaches Zack to tell him that he's sweet unlike her fictious professional wrestler husband with a violent temper. Frankly, if I had a shot at winning the heart of Nurse Jennifer, I'll would be willing do duel to the death with any likely suitors. Jennifer then gets more agressive with Zack by suggesting that the should soon run away together and get married and have lots of children (for which Kelly can babysit). She ultimately pins Zack to the wall and asks him if he rather have a girl...or a woman!
It kills me that Nancy Valen didn't get asked to reprise her part on the show. She pretty much helped me go through puberty. I love her so much that I even created a special group in her honor:
