I was watching the emmy awards and they paid tribute to Johnny Carson.
While David Lettermen talked a bit about Johnny helping him and countless other comedians he didn't mention Freddie :(
They showed several clips to but none of Freddie :( but when i think of Johnny Carson I always think of Freddie and what he did for Freddie.
Thank you Johnny for introducing us to Freddie may you both be laughing in Heaven

I also watched it and it made me smile because of the Storyline with Johnny.

I saw the tribute too and of course thought of Freddie. I got to thinking though, you know how Freddie was the first comic to be called over to the couch, was he also the youngest? David Letterman made the comment how you couldn't be a new comic until you did the Tonight Show and there were many a comic that got his or her start right there, but it seems to be they were all older than 19. Does anyone know if Freddie was the youngest comic to mark his mark there?

tha clip of Freddie was from another Tonight Show. The Tonight Show I have is with Freddie talking about his upcoming New Tv show-CATM in June of 74. That may have been the one when he was called over to the couch
