Doesn't seem like much of a quote, but I love Cousin Bartok to Balki: "I hate when you do this." Usually you say that about someone's habit that annoys you, but in this case, Bartok is annoyed at Balki's goodness getting in the way of his (Bartok's) scheming. And "when you do this," - acknowledges that Balki does it all the time. (Many examples in the show, which I'll post more about.)

Actually, now that I've watched a few more episodes, I notice that Larry says the same thing to Balki, when Balki is trying to keep him from giving up on a dream, (photo contest in "Up on a Rooftop") or, trying, out of goodness, to make him do something he doesn't want to do (like save Marvin the bomber.)

And I also enjoy Balki's mis-uses of expressions:

"I don't think Cousin Larry is playing with a full deck chair."
"I don't think it's fair (to photograph Dolly Parton's private life) just because she has a public figure."

I love when Balki said when running for student president at his college, "I'm pro sheep and anti wolf." :D :D :D
