....made an appearance on Redd Foxx's sitcom "The Royal Family?" They both showed up on the episode where they had to kill Redd Foxx's character. They were at the funeral. Obviously, they had different character names. They both made a brief speech about Al Royal. (Foxx's chracter)

I didn't know they appeared on "The Royal Family", but I'm not surprised.

Redd Foxx's friends and co-stars from Vaudeville days made guest appearances or were regulars on Sanford and Son. Leroy and Skillet, Bowlegs, Big Money Grip are examples of guest appearances, and LaWanda Page was, of course, a regular.

I'd never know that about those actors and actresses back in the day. Makes it even cooler to see them perform on reruns now.
