gilligan fanatic 09-18-2005, 11:31 AM It was a hard choice between Three's Company and Welcome Back Kotter, but I went with Three's Company
Dumballa 09-18-2005, 11:48 AM Welcome Back Kotter - but without question I have seen TC . . . oh about 50X more than any of the others.
Definitely TC. Also L&S.
I love them all, though.

Adamantium 09-19-2005, 04:16 PM 1. "Three's Company" (The one I chose)
The Rest in Order:
2. "Welcome Back, Kotter"
3. "Good Times"
4. "Laverne & Shirley"
5. "What's Happening!!"
I agree with Barwars. None of these (with the exception of TC, maybe) would make my list of the top 5 sitcoms of the 70's.
Southern Hellraiser 09-19-2005, 06:08 PM Good Times (chose this one)
Threes Company
Mrs. John Ritter 01-12-2006, 10:55 AM Three's Company.(the best show in the world.)

I agree. Happy Days gets boring after Richie leaves the show. I never like to watch the last couple of seasons.
JeffRuss1972 01-15-2006, 01:32 PM Good Times.
Probably need to see Kotter again as its been too long and really don't remember much of it.

Number 2 would be Three's Company.
Number 3 Good Times.

What??  Sanford And Son gets no love either! I ought to give TVResearcher one across the lips for leaving off Fred G Sanford.:D This is torture because, I love all these shows too. However, I pick....................
Good Times only because Fred didn't make the list and cause it's still being shown in syndication, plus I have seasons 1-5.

S&S had a horrible first and last season
comedyfreak 01-24-2006, 01:46 PM To you maybe, to others maybe not. The title of your thread does not specify, it only says your favorite TV comedy from the 70's. One would associate 70's sitcoms with Sanford & Son, whether it had good or bad seasons is irrelevant.
