Does anyone liked the opening credits when they showed the city of Chicago during the first four seasons better or the last two when they showed pictures of the cast? I kind of like them both because the first four defined the series and I think it was appropriate to switch over and show the cast later. I liked in season 5 when they showed the cast doing the J.J. strut around the couch. I liked Willona's strut better, because she had more spunk in hers. LOL

I liked them both too. I liked season 1-4 because those are the classic Good Times, and I liked season 5-6 cause I liked to try and figure out which scenes went with which episode.

Seasons 1-4 were the best for opening credits. Showing the cast I thought was a little corny.

Definitely seasons 5 and 6.

I think the idea came from the Jeffersons opening credits. The Jeffersons started the opening scenes with clips of the cast members in the fall of 1976 and then Good times does the same thing in the Fall of 1977.

I prefered the 5-6 season credits. I liked gussing which episode the picture went with. Plus they included everyone not just the Evans and Williona.
