I've always loved UM and stumbled upon this board, really cool, you all are knowledgeable. I'm a police detective in VA, I have worked burglary/theft and now I track down wanted fugitives. I've never worked lead on a murder or missing person but I have been onscene several times. If there is any questions anyone has about police stuff or why we do what we do, just ask, I'll do my best to answer.

Do you also enjoy the supernatural/paranormal mysteries? I'm wondering because you’re a policeman, and the criminal cases would probably interest you the most -- but I would like to hear your take....
I’ve noticed that many people don’t like the later episodes because they seem to focus more on bizarre paranormal stuff (well, that and the fact that the production values went south, LOL). I have to agree with the consensus that the early NBC episodes are the best (in terms of intriguing cases and great production).

I'm not real big on supernatural stuff, mostly missing and murders. I'm not saying I wont watch it though.
