A long time ago (early-mid 1990s) one of my friends told me that Bronson Pinchot (aka Balki) was going to star in a show with Michael Jordan (yes, the Chicago Bulls' superstar!) in "The New Perfect Strangers". Bronson was going to be the star of the show with Michael as his supporting cast ("MJ" would probably have had the line "Don't be ridiculous!").

I have not heard a single thing about it since and feel that this friend of mine was pulling my leg.

Yes, I think your friend is pulling your leg.. MJ is probably coming back to the NBA next season, most likely with the Lakers..

And of course he was still in the NBA at the time period you listed, kinda hard to be a NBA superstar and star in a sitcom at the same time (although I think he could have done it!)
