I know the one of the longest titled songs. Ray Stevens had a long titled song in the 1960's but the longest timed song I think up to the late fifties was El Paso by Marty Robbins. I think it went to number 1. But now 45 years later I have no clue with this new boom boom, be bop stuff

check out Guinness book of world records...also check out on the net, you are bound to find it there. I know that Donna Summer's Love to Love You baby was real long, not sure the time. There is a song by the Chambers Brothers called "Time has come today" and the original version is 11 minutes long. Barbra Streisand and Donna Summer did "No more tears" and the original album version was also 11 minutes. Some rock songs have long versions too.

o0o i know the longest album title. when the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a king what he knows throws the blows when he goes to the fight and he'll win the whole thing 'fore he enters the ring there's no body to batter when your mind is your might so when you go solo you hold your own hand and remember that depth is the greatest of heights and if you know where to stand then you'll know where to land and if you fall it won't matter cuz you'll know that you're right by fiona apple.

My guess it's probably Close to the Edge by Yes, but I'll have to check. It takes up an album side, but as far as CD's go...Hmmm.

The longest version I have on CD is sixteen minutes and forty-eight seconds. I don't know if there are longer versions of it..

Genesis' "Supper's Ready" is 22 minutes, 51 seconds.

The 12" version of America by Prince & The Revolution is around that long too.

I haven't heard the song before, but "Mountain Jam" by the Allman Brothers Band came in at 44 minutes even on one of their albums--oops, CDs.
