You know, I'm kinda glad Felicity won because I was rooting for her other than Marcia. I'm glad the Emmy's didn't bestow this honour upon Teri, because that would've been predictable.

I'm truly glad for Felicity's win. She was the longshot to win, so Congrats Felicity :D

I wanted Marcia to win, but I'm actually kinda happy Felicity got it. I think Huffman is by far the most underrated of the Housewives. People don't recognize her as a strong actress like Marcia, she doesn't necessarily have Teri's charisma (at least not on first view, once you grow used to Lynnette you realize she definately is) and she isn't exactly the shows resident "babe" that Eva is. So her winning this Emmy is in many ways a way to make up for the underratedness she's dealt with since the show began with, I like her character a lot.

Where'd you get that from? Teri looked pretty happy to me for Felicity, all the ladies were happy for her.

Anyways if Marcia had been submitted for best actress in a drama, she probably would have won, since Bree overall is a dramatic character. I hope people didn't expect Marcia to win as best actress in a comedy for Bree's scenes when Rex died, because those were totally dramatic scenes. I bet Felicity won for the scenes Lynnette had with the mean neighbor that she threw the eggs at(I can't think of her name). I would love to know what scenes each lady submitted.

Well, I've seen footage on TV of the 3 other women (Cross, Longaria, & Sheridan) group-hugging Felicity while Teri stood nearby with a rather fake smile.

Teri thought she was going to win, and for that, I'm glad she didn't. I always get disgusted when people whip out a list of people to thank.


On a side note, Teri looked sick from the Emmy pics I've seen. She either lost too much weight or that dress just wasn't right on her.

I thought that too. I was watching with my family and everybody seemed to remark that she looked like she was in her 50s, while usually she could pass for much younger than 40.

Just the other day my mom was saying she thought Teri looked older than 40, and that was before last night.

Now that I've seen a majority of the episodes, I don't have any problem at all with Felicity Huffman winning the Emmy Award. She had a lot of great moments on the show. All the women are great and Marcia's character was the once that stuck out for me at first, but after watching a bunch of episodes this week I see that Felicity kind of deserved it, if only one of them would get it.
