View Full Version : Doesn't it suck to have a dream that is making you so happy and it seems so real and
TVFactFan 09-16-2005, 09:00 AM the moment you find out it's not for real, it is so annoying. Damm I hate that. I had a dream that someone gave me all the Original Network Airings with commercials for all my favorite shows and i was telling the guy to ship it to my mom's house because I work during the day. So I was so exicted all day at work to get that HUGE special package and-"Bamm, my alarm clock goes off at 7:15am. I wanted to cry-lol

Yes, It does suck. I dreamed I had a few thousands and was sitting comfortably. next thing I Knew, I woke up. I was pissed.
Brian Damage 09-16-2005, 10:56 AM When I was younger, I had a dream that Blair from Facts of Life was in love with me and right before we got married, I woke up. I was sad for days.
Janice 09-16-2005, 11:43 AM Sometimes I have such vivid dreams of loved ones that have passed away....my parents...my two sisters. I wake up feeling so happy, for about 15 seconds. Then reality sets in. It's a terrible feeling.

Oh yeah, I have had dreams that I have this huge bundle of $$$$$ and I am sooo damn happy. I usually dream that when I think I am in need of money real bad!! But generally, I think the only time a dream feels real is when I am being stabbed or shot. I have those dreams constantly. it scares me.

swedeace 09-16-2005, 06:36 PM The other night I dreamt that I FINALLY got my TV to output the signal received from my VCR. I was angry when I woke up and found it wasn't so. Quite a pathetic dream, if you ask me, but still.... :p

My condolences Janice. I am really sorry.
I have had soooo many dreams abt my father who passed away last year and it was really sad to wake up knowing he was really gone. Now, when I wake up, I wake up happy that I had "some time spent with my daddy" being his little girl again. I feel happy because my sister cries that she hasn't had any dreams abt him and she wonders why. So, I feel grateful for my dreams. I miss him so much, but yet so happy that he is with my mom, my brother, my nephew, his parents and all his brothers. What more could I want? He is in Paradise.
Hollow 09-17-2005, 06:26 PM i can't stand that. a day or two after my friend died i dreamed that she came back and it was just a mistake that she was dead. i woke up and cried when i realized it was just a dream because it felt so real.
it's never been that way with my mom. whenever i dream about her i always realize that i'm dreaming..one time i actually asked her why i keep dreaming about her and she said that god is doing it so i can still spiritually be with her. that's what it feels like whenever i wake up after dreaming about her, i truly feel like i really did spend time with her. it's a good feeling, i've never been unhappy about waking up and realizing she's still gone.

*Miss Randomness* 09-18-2005, 07:35 PM I know the feeling. I always have dreams about things I want to come true. But then I wake up.

Yeah, same here :(
swedeace 09-18-2005, 11:12 PM After all that talk about not having nightmares in a long time, I end up having a nightmare last night.
I dreamt that my mom and I were shopping at some huge warehouse-looking store. I guess it's kinda a cross between Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. I remember us being in the store, and the next scene oddly (not so odd in dreams) switches over to us crossing a street to get to the other side. I remember my mom saying she was feeling exhausted or sick or something. I can't remember exactly, but I crossed over first and heard a thump. As I get to the sidewalk, I turn around and see my mom has passed out right in the MIDDLE of the street! I gasp and see a car driving somewhat quickly in the lane where my mom is lying. I scream, "Nooooo....Mom!!!!!!!!" and I try to run over and save my mom, BUT... I wake up! I panicked. It was scary. :(
Hmmmm.... I find that I dream (either regular dream or nightmare) just a few minutes before I wake up. I never dream right after I fall asleep. At least, not that I can remember.

All my good dreams that seem so real are about hot chicks, which you hate waking up from, but I've been having recurring horrible dreams where my mother was still alive and told me I had to get rid of my kitties... :crying: :crying: :crying: I was totally inconsolable. It was so real I had to tell myself it was just a dream...
Of course I have a Blair or Facts dream just about every night.... :D
Gizmo1 09-19-2005, 03:41 PM I had this dream where I got a Chevelle SS (72') but I couldnt ever get it to work. Then like a couple of months later I dreamed that I did FINALLY get it to work, then as soon as I took it for my 1st drive, my mother woke me up....and I thought yay I get to drive my Chevelle to school!!! But then I remembered:
1-I dont have a liscense
2-it was a dream and I dont even have the damn Chevelle.
I also dreamed that some of my fav. TV shows have come back on TV...then I hate to be woken up from those dreams......yup it sux!!
