Hey, pavanbadal! I tried looking it up on tvguide.com, but I couldn't get an exact date/time. I figure if anyone can get 'em well in advance, it'd be you! Keep me posted, please. Thank U! Then again, it ain't like I don't know what Bron's up to! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

I just finished watching that clip. Bronson sure went through some rough times in his younger days.....

Did anyone see the part on Balki tonight? And was Larry even supposed to be on? They had coverage of the soldiers coming back home on TV here. I can't believe(actually I can) the one segment I've been waiting for for about a week was cut off!

If anyone saw it, can you tell me what happened? Thanks a lot!

Adam

For starters, Bronson told us about growing up in poverty, and his how his dad abandoned the family when Bronson was only three years old. They also said that Tom Cruise (his "Risky Business" co-star) tried to talk him out of doing TV roles. They also told how Balki got his name (Bronson's sister gave him the idea).

So, where are they now? Mark Linn-Baker (now with a mustache, thinning hair, and a spare tire) is happily married and has his own theater company in NYC. Bronson Pinchot "lives" in Chicago and is starring in (duh!) "Fully Committed" (read my previous post!). http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks a lot for that recap! I hope they re-show it soon. Larry with a gut! And a mustache?! And thinning hair? I gotta see that one! I never would've expected that at all. That's too bad Bronson's dad walked out on them when he was so young. And thank God Tom Cruise was unsuccessful in talking him out of TV roles. Can you imagine Perfect Strangers without Balki?

One other thing: This show was originally going to be called "Greenhorn", with Balki being an immigrant and all.

That's a cool tidbit! I like the name Perfect Strangers better myself though. I'm glad they didn't go with Greenhorn.
