...you deem Ida Pruitt to be such a *****. You call her that "witch of a grandmother". What was it a about her and Chad Noe that put the word "liar" all over their faces, excluding the claim about Chad's boasting about getting away with murder during a "drunken stupor". This has been talked about quite a bit on this forum, but I am still unclear as to why they are crawling with obvious guilt in their interviews. With not-so volutary "confessions" like Chad's drunken rants, what else is keeping the from being behind bars? Stuff like that is pretty incriminating. I feel that foul play was involved too, but don't get that idea just from their on camera interviews.

And why do some of you dismiss the sightings of Wendy and her daughter as inaccurate? Just fill me in since I am not quite clear on these topics. Thanks

Well I will address your questions as to my opinions on the case. Its a matter of opinion with Ida Pruitt. I just don't buy that they got in this big argument on the way home, that was all Wendy's fault of course, and Ida Pruitt asked to be dropped off. Its a little too convenient don't you think especially if the three were to meet with foul play soon after Ida just wanted to distance herself from the crime in my opinion.

I don't know of any sightings except of one of the little girl. I would love to think that she was alive but it just doesn't make sense that she was seen months later alive and well but not with her mother or step-aunt or apparently anyone else in the family. Where was Wendy and Lisa and wouldn't they have been with her? She was old enough that if she was out there without her mother or aunt would have been able to contact authorities or tell someone what really happened that night. Plus this person that supposedly sighted Cynthia as RS said "knew the family" why didn't she approach her and ask her some questions. I just think the sighting was false, probably just an innocent mistake. That is just my opinion though.

Well, I'll probably just be repeating myself but I'll do my best to give you my opinion.

The biggest problem I have with Chad's family's story is Wendy, her daughter and the sister-in-law being dropped off at the Meijer store (or was it Mervins?) It was broad daylight. People were everywhere, as they usually are in a department store parking lot during that time of day. If everything happened as Chad's sister said, that she did in fact drop them off there, wouldn't they simply just walk into the store to a payphone and call Wendy's husband to come get them? I'm sorry but if some kind of foul play happened in the parking lot, especially at that time of the day, somebody would have seen something. So I highly doubt that Chad's sister really dropped them off at the Meijers.

I don't have much of an opinion on Ida. She just seemed like a cranky bitter old lady to me. I don't really know what to think of her or how much she might have been involved.

Chad looked guilty as sin to me. Again, this is just my opinion. I looked at his face while he was being interviewed and all I could think of was "GUILTY!" It was the same thing I felt when Tommy Gibson's father, I think his name was Larry, was interviewed for the dissaperaence/murder of his son.

The timing just seems too conveniant to me. The 3 ladies being dropped off after Ida was taken home. The drive that Chad's sister would have had to make to meet Chad at the diner after dropping the ladies off - which I believe the segment said she would not have made it in time if she had driven the route she said she did. And of course, wasn't it a little conveniant that after so many hard feelings and time apart that Chad's family would just call Wendy up out of the blue to tell her that she could visit her son for a couple hours? That sounds a little fishy to me. Apparently Wendy's husband was a little suspicious as well since he asked his sister to accompany Wendy and her daughter for the trip.

Sorry, I can't give you cold hard facts. Just my feelings after hearing the stories and seeing the interviews. It's too bad Chad's sister refused to be interviewed in the segment because her version of what happened sounds the least likely.
