Last night, I saw Harold, who looks suspicously like Gilligan. Then, I watched the end of the show and found out thatIT WAS IN FACT... BOB DENVER FROM GILLIGAN's ISLAND! Question though. Did Bob Denver appear on IDoJ during Gilligan's Island or after Gilligan's Island ended and/or how many eps. did he appear on?

after but only by a couple of months gilligan ended at the end of the 66/67 season. His episode of IDOJ aired December 12 1967. He was only in this episode.

He appeared in just 1 episode of IDOJ, which was "My Son the Genie". It aired in December 1967, so it was almost 3 years after GI started airing and about 8 months after the final episode of GI (not including the movies). See Bob Denver's credits:

...it should have been shown by now, 'agmfox8' (3/31).

By the way, "My Son, the Genie" was the episode that Jerry Lewis was SUPPOSED to have appeared in. It was written by his frequent collaborator Bill Richmond, and Lewis HAD been announced as a potential guest star before the third season (1967-'68) began. Apparently, Lewis was unable to appear, and Bob Denver replaced him.

Hello all. This is probably my favorite episode of one of my favorite sitcoms.

I especially love how Harold had Tony's home setup with the belly dancer and harem tent. I don't see how old LBJ would have a problem with any of that!

The same dancer shows up in a later episode in Jeannie's sister's Master's harem. This was when Tony went for help while Jeannie was locked in the safe.
