Newhart finally replaces the long and overplayed All in The Family timeslot on Prime weekdays at 1:00PM & 1:30PM ET. Not my favorite show (I liked the 1970's Bob Newhart Show better), but at least All in The Family is put to rest for awhile. Too bad M*A*S*H is still on. That show is overplayed as well, and also needs to be put out of it's misery. Golden Girls needs to go too. But Prime now airs Welcome Back Kotter at noon-- which is nice change. :)

They are getting a little better, but not much, unfortunately. :(

I have been recording the series again but the beginnings are sped up possibly to save more room for advertising? anyone notice this too?:)

I hope some cable stationpicks up Newhart soon I remember watching Newhart on Nick@Nite and I think WGN TV 9 had The Right'sa to Newhart aas well
