My copy of Season 2 arrived yesterday. I don't see any problem with the rest of the series coming out on dvd, especially with the whole Pierce Brosnan / Bond connection. You may have to wait 6 months or so in between each release though.

I could handle that as long as I knew the whole series was coming out. I hate it when they only put one or two seasons out and not the rest.

I've heard Fox plans to get the remainder of the series out in 2006. We will probably see season 3 around March or April and season 4 (and 5?) out later

I am just wondering how are they going to handle the last season. Will they just release seasons 4 and 5 together and just make it 5 discs instead of 4 (since season 5 came out to 6 hours, and most of the double-sided discs for Steele contain 6 episodes).

I own S1,S2 and look forward to owning S3,S4 but they really need not bother with season 5. I don't think there is a legit remington steele fan that would want to own them as they totally ruined the greatness of the show. If they are gonna give us the few season 5 episodes, they should just include them with season 4 or not bother.

while promoting his new film, Pierce Brosnan said he is going to reprise the role of Remington Steele in a movie after he's finished making Thomas Crown II, so it's pretty safe to say the entire series will get released on DVD now since season 3 is supposed to be out in the first half of 2006 anyways, with a movie, season 4 and 5 will be inevitable.

Even though I personally will only see the movie on the grounds that Stephanie Zimbalist is in it. I can see ageist/sexist Hollywood have Laura recast because Stephanie is almost 50 and she's not an A-list name and her post-Steele career has been loaded with off-Broadway and guest spots (whereas Pierce has had a very successful post-Steele career and he still gets movie offers), plus she's gained a lot of weight and has not resorted to plastic surgery, but if they recast her with Mischa Barton or somebody, I will not see the movie. Stephanie is as important to the "Remington Steele" name as Pierce

Thank you for the info. I would like to see a movie if all three were involved, in this I am also including Doris Roberts.
