Carolina loses to Saints and Minnesota loses to the Bucs. The Deadskins should have lost to the Bears.

Also the team who most experts say will beat out the Pts for the AFC East lost 27-7 to Kansas City. That team is the Jets-lol

Yeah but if these are the two teams to challenge the Eagles, they wouldn;t lose to Aaron Brooks and Brian Griese-LOL

It is how you finish! I am not throwing the towel in on my 'Skin's. I will admit, I wanted to see more points on the board, but you act like this game determined the playoffs. If we should have lost, what makes you think the Bears could have done any better? Obviously, they didn't capitalize, so the better team won today.

Actually both teams were HORRIBLE. I'm convinced the Skins will be in last place in the NFC East as along as they have Pat Ramsey at QB. BTW, the skins don;t have a chance next week against Dallas

You prejudge too much! It is not Ramsey's fault that he got clotheslined. So what if Dallas won today?! Who is your team?

The Vikings/Bucs game was quite possibly one of the more frustrating games I've ever watched.

Nate Burleson, Travis Taylor, Marcus Robinson, Koren Robinson, and Troy Williamson all combined for 8 catches. EIGHT. All of these guys are #1 or #2 material. And Daunte choses to dump the ball off to the running back or tight end all game long. I don't know if it was him or his receivers, but SOMEONE needs to get their head out of their asses.

The two bright sides are their defense and special teams. Both were really good.

Why is the Rams losing to the 49ers a surprise? The Rams are no longer an ELITE team in the NFC

And they will not beat the Giants at the Meadowlands or the Chiefs at KC. So they may go 12-4

I think the Giants are better than Atlanta. I see the Falcons losing tonight because Vick will be PREDICTABLE like he always is and the Eagles defense will plan for him.

Well the fact that the Falcons just got in a pregame fight with the Eagles didn't help their chances to win at all-LOL Eagles may win really big now

Eagles 40
Falcons 14

Micheal Vick is a good player, but he's asking for it by running so much. He needs to pass more.

ESPN is saying Eagles lost because Trotter wasn't playing. Remember, the Eagles are never suppposed to lose. They are ignoring that the Falcons Defense held the Eagle to 10 points,

As they might say in one of the multitude of circles I converse with:

Falcons pwned.

One of the least surprising things in the NFC in week one, to be sure.

Vick still needs to learn to throw the ball more, but their defense is certainly encouraging.

Yeah Vick never throws for more than 200 yds

Chelsea

Whereas Vick ALSO had 68 yards rushing...Myself, I think it's refreshing to see a generation of quarterbacks willing to run the ball themselves occasionally.
