I remember, the day after, my mother telling me the news. I stood there, blankly for minutes, then proceeded casually. Soon after I just broke down crying.

Rest in peace John. We all know he's making the angels laugh right at this minute, as he made us laugh. God called him, he knew it was right for us to share the gift of his loveliness with the angels in heaven. :)

I cried more than anything when I heard the news. I heard it on the late news before going to bed on sept. 10th. But when I woke up, I thought it was a dream that I had. Then when I turn on the TV that morning I realize it was true. I never cried for anyone as much I cried for him. I had so many people passed away that I knew but didn't cry as much. I still miss him more then everyday. John made me laugh through the years and my first love. I wouldn't want anyone to make me laugh except for him. I think of Nancy and the kids everyday when I see them. I know they are celebrating in their own way.

I remember the day too... I was getting ready for school, i had the tv on in my room and i was putting my make-up on. As soon as the lip-gloss wand touched my lips, Scott Passmore (one of our news anchors here) said "John Ritter passed away last night at 54 years of age". I remember smearing my lipgloss and running to my mom to tell her too (she is also a huge John Ritter fan, both my parent's are, not as big a fan as I am of course but fans none the less) We both just broke down crying, i still went to school, but it was very hard (thank god it was friday). I remeber in November when 8 Simple Rules came back, my whole family and I watched the episode "GoodBye" together, i was the most emotional, I was literally balling and... just uncontrolable crying. I still miss him soooooo much. I don't think any of us will ever forget what they were doing or where they were when they found out.

Rest In Peace John, you will forever be in our hearts... may god give Stella, Amy, and all of John's family peace and comfort this day.

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY STELLA!!! :birthday:

John ... You have changed my life in so many ways, i wish that i could have met you to thank you...now that will just have to wait until I pass on... Thank you for the laughter, and the dramatic pieces you gave to us... we are forever greatful to have the ability to enjoy them.. We love and miss you, sweet dreams John.

I remember finding out, friday morning, that John died. My mother knocked on my bedroom door and told me. At first, I thought I was dreaming, but when I got up and came out into the kitchen it was on the news. :(

I just remember being in shock. It didn't hit until later on in the day and I didn't let myself cry until I got home from work. All day I had this horrible feeling in my stomach.

Since that day, I know that whenever I think of him I have to smile because he made so many people laugh and smile.

So John from me to you :D and :bighug: I miss you and will never forget you. :rip:

Come on Solomon, he was just stating an honest opinion, respect it. He's just saying like why is it always the good ones?

In the words of my favorite musician, Billy Joel, "Darlin' only the good die young!"

To the family of Jonathan Southworth Ritter, we feel for you. If we all miss him this much, you guys must be feeling totally unearthly pains. You had a good man to look up to, family of John Ritter. We feel your hurt, its OK, we will get through it together. So far we've done a good job. You have our shoulders to cry upon.

Rest in peace again, Mr. Ritter. You are an idle and more. You are one of my major inspirations to become an actor. Thank you, we commend you, sir. You are truly the KING of comedy. We love you. In a way, you are home now. Enjoy it.

I'mm sorry but there should never be statements like "WHY couldn't somebody else die besides John? I don;t think he would like it if someone said-"Why couldn't it be his mother instead of John Ritter? Very stupid Statement.

BTW, I miss you John, you will always go down as one of my favorite actors and I will never forget you.

I hoped this day never come. I didn't want it to come because I knew the moment I would wake up, that I would be completely miserable. It's so weird too because I haven't really cried yet - only just a few tears. I haven't had a moment by myself to just cry. It feels so weird though because when I found out about him, he was already dead. Most of you were fans of him before he died, so I can't really share the experience with you all. I always asked myself too why he had to die. It's just so unfair to everyone, but I learned that things like this happens and everyone has to deal with it. I miss him so much more than ever..I'd just wish that there could be some sign that would tell me that he's still here.

You know I don't really like talking about someone who passed away. I get too emotional and stuff, but John is a big exception.

BECAUSE JOHN HAD ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSE IN LIFE AND GOD WAS SATISFY W/THE GREAT PERSON HE WAS AND THOUGHT IT WAS TIME HE GOT REWARDED! THAT IS WHY NOONE ELSE COULD HAVE TAKEN HIS PLACE.

That could be true, because my uncle was the NICEST most generous person in the world and he died at 47 of unknown causes. I guess God takes those who deserve to be rewarded in heaven.
