Today I took my car in for an oil change. My mechanic also sells cars. While I was waiting for the oil change, he let me test drive this 1999 Chevy Cavalier. It had only 62,000 miles! I barely tapped the gas and it took off. It had a quiet sound and everything. He said it was his neice's car and she traded it in for an Acura. The Chevy was steps ahead of my 1993 Dodge Shadow. I need front brakes. The only thing is, the Cavalier costs $3200. If I had half of that, I would have talked him down.

I wonder what engine it had? Probably 327-cu.-in. or 396-cu.in.
Yeah, they were nice... big, plenty of room and luggage space, strong and tough engines, and much optional equipment available (a/c, power windows/seats/door locks/brakes/steering).

Well, the prices of those "loves," (in good condition) ranges from about $10,000 for the 340 Dart to about $80,000 (and up... way up) for a '70 Hemicuda. ;)

I can't afford any car right now. But I always wanted a Pontiac Firebird or a Chevrolet Camaro.

Nah, I never have....

In fact, I am not that into cars except using them only for modes of transportation. I've never understand the whole car obsession. I guess I have other obsessions that I can be empathic about towards car lovers.

Technically, I can't afford any car that's better than the one I already have.

But as far as cars I want...CORVETTE. It'll forever be out of my price range. Solaras are damn expensive too.

Better stick to Hot Wheels.

 No one that isn't a car freak understands. Me, I see them as a work of art, a member of the family. I don't know the engine hardly at all though. Car nut, not a gear head. Odd, but blame it on my dad. I grew up collecting more Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars than Barbies. :D
