For the 5th and 6th season dvds, you can not manually (with your dvd controller) ask for subtitles. You have to go into the dvd menu for the specific episode every time and then after you do that, you can't do the deleted scenes or the audio commentaries automatically. You have to set that with your controller. Its really annoying.

So, if I complained to Fox, would they switch it back for the 8th or 9th season dvds? :( It was so much easier with the 4th season dvd set.

Does anyone else find this annoying? I like to use captioning especially when I hear words in the episode that I thought were one word and not another. Like in Lisa's wedding, I always heard "You and I are getting married" and it was "Hugh and I" how embarrassing...........

I just use the closed captions that come up when I hit mute
