I've always wondered why the Fonz's office was in the bathroom at Arnold's. I've seen some episodes when he and Richie go in there and someone else happens to be in one of the stalls or needs to use it and the Fonz throws them out or tells them to cover their ears. Once in awhile, he'll invite Potsi and Ralph in there as well as Al and the other characters. After the new Arnold's is built, they finally give Fonz a desk with a phone and some phone numbers and pictures. If the pc were around then, all he could do is email some of his girlfriends.

I guess it was rent free and no one would argue with the Fonz. He was close to a phone and food and his buds. Personally, I think the bathroom would be a crappy place to have a office.

Yeah, UNSANITARY.
But it was classic on HD, so that made it ok.

It's a convenient locale (in Arnold's) and I think it was done for humor as well. It obvioulsy stupid to have a public bathroom as an "office" but hey it's Fonzie, so it MUST be cool. Of course anyone who thought otherwise wasn't going to tell him, LOL.
I do think it wasn't funny anymore when the "new" Arnold's came about and Al put in a phone & desk. I mean, the guy's co-owner who about a real office for him at that point?
