Who's your favorite Partridge Family character and why?

Probably Danny-as far as being the funniest, but I loved Reuben as well...and they had a good rapport on and off the show.

Dave Madden was the reason I saw the Partrige Family in the first place.I had not only seen him on TV before,but had seen him on the stage in the summer of '69 as a stand-up comic.

My favorite was David Cassidy because I had a crush on him in the 70's. I bought his album and use to play it to death. Everyone in my High school knew I had a crush on David Cassidy. I had crushes on him, Bill Bixy, Bobby Sherman, Freddie Prinze.

My favorite character is Keith, Shirley, Lori, Tracey.

Danny is my fave character (with Reuben coming in a close 2nd).

My favorite was Keith (David Cassidy)

Danny. I appreciated that he wasn't a perfect goody-goody like most sitcom kids were. I also related to his being so 'frugal' with his money. I remember an episode where they are all hungry and digging around to find change to get something to eat. He of course had a dollar hidden on him. So like me...my sibs (like in the show) knew I always had some money hidden away and gave me the shake down when I'd deny it. LOL.

Tracey could have been played by a stuffed animal. I can't believe she could be anyone's favorite but another five year old girl.

Keith, of course. Had a crush on David Cassidy!!!

Shirley. Beautiful. Kind.

The one who just died ironically,Tracy. Laurie as well.

For looks Laurie of course.
For comedy Danny.

I'm a BIG Shirley Jones fan so Shirley's my favorite character by far. 2nd would be Laurie; I like the way she'd always cut Keith down to size.

I once read a movie critic's collumn in which he said that he considered the character of "Tanner" (the tough talking b!ond kid in The Bad News Bears) as a hero for being rude and talking back to adu!ts and just being someone who does not take orders.
I can't admire such a character. However Danny Partridge was about the same as most other child TV characters on sitcoms. He was not really nasty but was like a little sly businessman trying to get the upper hand financially.
It seemed that his antics were very often most hard on his big brother Keith who was the fall guy when he dealt with Danny. Mr Kincaid too.
