They just showed the segment about Melvin Green, which was obviously produced from one of the earlier seasons. It was an awesome story that I'd never seen before and it had me glued to the television.

Then when the segment was over, and they previewed the next segment, it was about a family who is supposedly "genetically predisposed" to being struck by lightening. Obviously the lightening segment is from the newer episodes. To me it's a perfect contrast: the older segments were intriguing and about things people care about, and the new ones are just plain foolish.

Yeah, you can really tell the age of different segments by Robert Stack's voice as well. He sounded much older on the later episodes, probably since he was. On the older ones, the voiceover was a little more muted and scarier. I don't like that they redid the titles to fit into the newer shows though. I like the white titles for people's names. Funny, the entire look of the newer segments is different. They definitely did a better job in the first few seasons. Oh well, I'll take anything over nothing at all.
