i have a question about the episode "i hate a mystery" After hawkeye is accused of taking the things, was trapper supposed to be ignoring hawk on purpose? Because in the scene where radar is watching hawkeye lie down on his cot trapper comes in, and when hawk attempts to talk to him he completely blanks him. Now my question is if trapper is hawkeyes friend then shouldnt he belive he didnt take the things?

I hope people understand what im trying to say.

I haven't watched that episode on DVD in a while so I just checked out the scene in question, and I think you're right; it does appear that Trapper is ignoring Hawkeye. Maybe he thought that Hawkeye did steal all those things.

Good observation.

I would have thought trapper would have known hawkeye better thatn that.

Yeah, that's true.
But since Trapper saw all the stolen goods in Hawkeye's footlocker when he opened it for Henry, he just jumped to the conclusion that Hawkeye was the thief.

Maybe he was also scared of guilt by association?
