This show is currently on air in Chicago on a small local station. There should be someone out there with "good" copies of it. Im not looking for A+++ quality. But im not looking for B----- either.

Here's how I grade my shows (I'm not so much of a purist to be able to grade on a scale of 1-10.)

Poor - plays, no skipping but is hard to watch - you only want this if you really, really, REALLY want the episode.

Good - easily viewable but not crisp or clear

Very good - more crisp & clear than 'good' but you can tell when viewing, that it's a copy & not 'live' tv or a master tape/disc.

Excellent - just like watching it live on tv or a master tape/disc - I rarely use this category.

All my "Love, American Style"s are poor to good in that they aren't actually 'poor' but they're not exactly 'good', either. Also, as mentioned before, it doesn't appear these are all vignettes from a full episode, it's almost like someone recorded each vignette...(shrug)

So if you want to hold out to find better quality, no problem. If you *are* interested in a trade, I'll find the minutes on them & let me know what vignettes/eps you have for trade.

I've partially viewed the eps I have (while making copies for a trade) & they are better than I thought...quality is a bit better & they are the full shows. Plus, I now have an additional episode. Please give me a couple of days, to review them more diligently & get back to you. It seems that ALOT of people are looking for Love American style. I find it hard to believe that the only group of disks out there are the set that Nannyfan and I have. She has the episode list on a previous post.
This show currently is airing on a local Chicago station. Before that it was on Nick.

Michael, Thanks very much for responding to my post. The episode titles are the same as the ones posted by Nannyfan acouple of posts back on this thread. If you have alot that are different and don't want more Love American Style episodes in trade Id be more than happy to send you out my list and you can pick some disks off it instead.

That offer goes for anyone else. You have episodes that I dont have ill be more than happy to trade off my list. Even if it means 1-2 disks more in your favor.

This show currently is airing on a local Chicago station.
WWME stopped airing them about a month ago. During their run on that station I managed to get the following recorded straight to disc (except Love and the Happy Days which is from an off-air VHS EP TVLand airing). However, it is a low wattage station and the eps were picked up by rabbit ears so the quality is NOT, by any means, comparable to what you'd get from a digital cable/satellite broadcast. Most are okay, some are pretty fuzzy. I liken it to what it would have been like watching the show back during its original run. Also, the discs themselves are a mess: untitled, commercials intact, not even seperation between the back-to-back episodes. Listings below are per tv.com (which is undoubtedly incorrect as a couple of episodes aren't even listed there) and does not reflect the way the episodes are compiled on the discs I have.
