No. I can't belive nobody else is doing a tribute for him. I know if I ran a station I would do one and it would have great ratings.

Amazing. THe first thing you think of when you discuss moldy reruns is Gilligan's Island. WHile not the biggest celebrity in the world still an icon.

Who DIDN"T see Gilligan's Island besides people that were truly actually stuck on an uncharted desert island.

The guy ranks up there in Rerun TV with all of them witht he possible exception of GLeason and Lucy. who were on a much broader scale.

Bob Denver is the ultimite staple in classic tv. far and away. and ET only gives him a five minute segmemt.

Not knocking John Ritter but that guy was not the icon Gilligan was and he was treated like the pope when he died.

Thanks to Hurricane Katrina, I still don't have cable, so I couldn't watch these myself. I bet it was a lot of fun for them to use words like "goatee"----did the guy giving the clue say "Maynard" while stroking his chin? :lol:

It was actualy the other way around. Bob Denver was giving the clues and he said Maynard. The guy did not pick up on it. Through the whole episode he did not seem like he knew who Bob Denver was.
