I was wondering if anymore UM DVD sets were coming out... like a bizarre murders #2, UFO #2 or something like that.

Also I think it would be cool if they did a bank robbers UM DVD set too... those robberies are pretty sweet, like the one where they go under the bank and escape on the ATV's.

thanks in advance.

No. They didn't sell well at all.

I'd love to see more of these sets too. They could do a missing persons one, perhaps? And the Bank Robber one would be interesting too like you said. Guess they probably won't ever release anymore though, sadly. :(

I wish that they would make some more sets, too.

Well I have said this in the past but if you have never read it, I think if we wrote into the producers at First Look and UM and mentioned better publication methods for these DVD sets they may take hint and do something about it. I only saw the DVD commercials a few times, and that was only for the first three sets. The second three sets are not even mentioned on UM's homepage. Doesn't that by itself indicate that more effort is needed?

And yes, I still have not forgotten about writing to UM or a TV network in regards to, if not restarting the show, creating a new one of a similar nature.

I do think that sets of sci-med, fugitives, missing persons, and bizzare murders #2 would be excellent, particularly the last one since there are some cases that should have been on the first set that were not, as well as cases on the set that should never have been put there.

Please keep in mind that, as a general rule, you should really be targeting Lifetime, not UM. A board member by the username of MysterySolver, who claimed to be an employee of UM's production company Cosgrove-Meurer Productions, said that the decision to discontinue production was made by Lifetime, not the show's producers. Even if the studio wanted to restart the show in the worst way, they cannot do so unless a network is willing to air new episodes. Therefore, until the network powers-that-be rethink their decision to discontinue production of UM, the UM studio's hands are tied. :(

Thanks Kane. I will keep that in mind. I guess Lifetime chose to make that fateful decision after RS died over years ago.

Now in regards to current DVD promotion and future DVD sets, would First Look be the one to contact, not UM?

Yes. If you'd like to see more UM DVDs issued, contact the distributor. My understanding is that the distributor, not the show's producers, has the power to decide on issuing new DVDs.

Here's the First Look web site:
