I just saw Valerie Bertinelli's mom on T.V. yesterday (On Biography). She looked exactly like her daughter only older. They looked like twins!

I had such a huge crush on Valerie Bertinelli as a boy!!! She just had that wholesome beauty that I've always found attractive. She hasn't changed very much over the years and still looks basically the same as she did in the early to mid-80s!!! :)

Valerie looks like she did 20 years ago. She must really have good genes. I am really sorry to hear that her 20 year marriage to Eddie Van Halen is over. But she is still young (42), and I am sure she will find someone else.

I too was sorry to hear about the breakup of her marriage. Everyone laughed when sweet Valerie married a rock star (!)
but they made it last a lot longer than other high profile celeb marriages.

Now that Valerie is single again, I bet we'll see her back on TV soon. I always thought that she put her career on the back burner to be a Mom and Wife, (alhtough she tried with "Cafe American" - but it never clicked) maybe now she'll find another situation comedy vehicle for herself that will copy the longevity of "One Day At A Time."
