Ummmm, let me see, well, not sure if the critics disliked this movie, I know alot of people didn't like it for one reason or another, but a heck of alot of people praised it, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST. Nighthawk76 09-06-2005, 07:56 PM Wes Craven's 1972 debut film The Last House on the Left. Despite being over thirty years old this film is one of the most disturbing and realistic looks at violence in America. Many critics dismiss the movie as nothing more then an untra gory slasher movie (and it is very gory) but there is far more to this movie then that. It isn't an easy movie to watch (I can't watch it more then once a year) but watching it is one of the most terrifying experiences a person can have watching a movie.
