Guys,

I always thought that the town was called Hooterville. But in at least two episodes Oliver says something like, "I have to go into Hooterville." So what do you think the deal is? Do they live in the town, on the boarder, or is this an inconsistenct by the writers?

PS We do know that Hooterville is outside of Pixley. When Oliver has to go to Mr. Drucker's store he says, "I have to go into Druckers." So is Drucker's store supposed to be in Hooterville or Pixley? Are there any episodes where they are in Pixley? Is it ever established how far Pixley is from Hooterville?

Hello dere! I'm not quite sure, but I think that they live just outside of the town of Hooterville, but they still live in the Hooterville valley. That's why when people asked where Oliver moved, he can still say that he moved to a small farm in Hooterville.

Also, I'm pretty sure that Drucker's store is in Hooterville, not Pixley. And yes, there are several episodes where they show Oliver and Lisa in Pixley, but mostly in the latter seasons. And no, they don't ever establish how far Hooterville is from Pixley, but they did say once that Oliver lives about four miles away from Drucker's store. That's about all the geographic clues they ever gave us.

There was an episode that established their house was in Hooterville, their farm in Pixley and their barn in Crabwell Corners!
