2005 marks now, what? 23 YEARS?? What? Are they gonna wait until it's the TWENTY FIFTH anniversary to THINK about MAYBE allowing him big rolls again? This is pathetic. Bingo really DOES deserve success (and of Will Ferrell proportions). Do not you all agree?

no.
you keep bringing this nonsense up, but the facts remain the same - Robert Pierce has had PLENTY of roles in ALL SORTS of projects in Hollywood. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0670564/
he will NEVER be an A-list actor or comedian - not everyone can or should be.
drop this, seriously man - just accept the fact that you will always just be known as Bingo to everyone.

I just moved back up north to Eureka where I grew up. Just got done spending a good 7 years down south in sunny southern Cali. Loved it!! Anyway, a few years back I would go to this site and read these posts and couldn't help but notice the big protests on 'Bingo's 'lack-of-success/bein 'blackballed'-by-hollywood stuff. Well, turns out I was dating an aspiring actress at the time and she did know some of what you would call 'bigwigs' of Hollywood; 'important' people in the biz. Well guess what? One night one of them with his date was actually over at her apartment. The four of us had dinner, wine in the living room, you know the drill. Well anyway, just having read these 'Bingo prtotests' the night before, I actually asked this 'bigwig' all about it. I asked if there was some kind of...'conspiracy'. Both he and his date, no kidding, looked at one another as if they both already knew of this and then he said 'no comment'. I couldn't believe it! I mainly asked him of this expecting a laugh but instead I find out that it, indeed is true. I tried pushing him more for answers, why would this actor/comedian be blackballed all these years just because he was once on Joannie and Chachi and he kind of hinted annoyance at me and said he didn't want to discuss it further. My girlfriend told me to stop it and I did and that was the end of it. Three weeks later at a bar during a happy hour after work I ran into some more Hollywood players, we shot some pool together, and I brought up the same thing. Guess what? They all looked at one another smiling and all pleaded the fifth. They at least were cool about me bugging them a little more for specifics but in the end they wouldn't give an answer. Like if it was some kind of top military secret or something. I don't know, but maybe it was MORE THAN just being on that show that stopped him short. Hollywood does have a way of blackballing you if they really want to. Anyway, after seeing that some people still care about this subject, I just thought I share this. Pretty messed up, I think.

i found it a little odd that a "first-time poster" would pick this topic to contribute to - especially with such a ridiculous story... so of course I check the IP's and it turns out that you ARE indeed our good friend strokes-fiend
knock it off.
