Hi fellow Odd Couple fans. I've been watching this show since the 70's and I'm so "happy and peppy and bursting with love" that it's back on TV again! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

No matter how many times you watch them, they are still so funny. It's a classic, a timeless comedy.
I look forward to chatting with fellow fans.

I love the happy and peppy song. This is a wonderful show. I love when Felix and the guys sing. What was the name of their group? UUUGGGGHHH! I can't remember!

Wasn't the name of the group The Sophistocats or something close to that?

Felix had a band that was in a couple of episodes (Monty Hall's talk show and the Barn Dance episode where Oscar used them to get out of a gambling debt.) but didn't get its name The Sophistaccatos or Sophisticatos (not sure how they spelled it but that's the pronunciation) until the later episode.(I think they were called something like the Felix Unger Five the first time) But they didn't have anything to do with Happy and Peppy and Bursting With Love That was all Felix writing in the Jaye P. Morgan episode. (He couldn't get "Let's Hit Hitler Where He Lives" out of his mind)

Thanks for the info Roz. I had forgotten about the Jaye P. Morgan episode. But I sure remember the happy and peppy song!

Sarah, I could not agree with you more, the Odd Couple is a timeless comedy. I rank it as one of the top shows of all time. I too grew up in the 70s watching this great show, and I have seen every episode several times, but I still do not get tired of it.
