Loren I sent a reply to this person last week, and then every day i got the same email over and over and over, saying i have nothing to trade, can u please send me some free dvds of this show or that show, and i said no
and they kept sending it over and over and over
signing it "your best tv friend"

and i just started to block email from this one

i dont get it

Avoid this person like the plague. She has many aliases, retrogirl76 and rhodygirl76 being 2 here at SO. She lurks on many tape trading and tv show newsgroups/boards asking people to send her free stuff. She does not trade and does not buy.

If you respond to her, you've had it as Lamont's post shows. She will continually ask you to send her lists and then tapes. She will beg you because it's her birthday, or because her dad is sick and wants to see some old shows or, my fave, she'll send you the email addresses of all the traders you already know and then ask you to repay this "favor" by sending tapes.

A friend of mine was pestered by her for 8 years (he says). I've been hounded by her for 2 years. I've asked her to stop mailing me but she won't. Quite against my nature as anyone who's corresponded with me can attest, I've even gotten nasty with her but the emails still keep coming. I got two more just last week.

She not's a scammer, just a begger. A scammer would be offering someone something and not coming through with it. She just wants everyone to send her tv shows for free

I don't know where in the world you get the information that "you could only post here if you were a known trader" as everyone has to start somewhere.

As for her begging, this girl/boy comes and goes, irritating many along the way. Ignore her and eventually she will go away. Block her email address because it's a deadend.

I think it is pretty obvious we have all exposed the lies and lies and lies here
