.....JJ these goofy lines. I think that's the main reason why we diss him so much on here. Every episode the same thing. He says something dumb, James gets on him about it, telling him shut up, etc. Then a couple of minutes later, he does it again. Something else dumb. It's like it goes thru one ear and out the other. I think the writers gave him too many dumb moments. Just like when all three of them slept on the sofa during Duckfoot's visit. JJ kept saying goodnight to everyone, including John Boy, LOL. James shuts him, then a minute later, he does it all over again. "Goodnight Michael".

Because they knew he would say them and not complain like the others. He was their puppet.

Did Jimmie Walker have any kind of input in the writing in regards to the JJ character? Is it possible some of those stupid lines we talk abt are lines that maybe he wrote?

That's a very good possibility, I didn't think of that.
