I just visited the forums over at Echoes of Fear's website and noticed that they're pretty much dead. I don't know about you guys, but what makes it difficult for me to post there is the fact that they have different categories for each type of segment (i.e. Wanted, Miracles, Unexplained Death, etc.). Sometimes I don't know if the segment I want to talk about would fall under Wanted, Unexplained Death, or Missing. Plus, it's just a hassle to have to look in a bunch of different places to find the newest posts.

Maybe I'm the only one who feels like this, and if so then Echoes should disregard this post. If not, though, I suggest that maybe he change the layout of his site to make it easier to post in the forums. Anyone else feel the same?

Hey Mr. Fuji, thanks for the input.

Dark is on vacation today through next week so I'm running the UM side of Echoes until he returns (just didn't want you to think he didn't care if he didn't comment on your suggestion until after he returns). I had mentioned to him about putting the categories together. I think he's under the impression that you guys want it divided into specific categories since he had all the downloads all together until some members suggested he categorize them. I'm sure if he knew you guys would prefer one format he would accommodate if it would get more members to post. I will definitely talk to him about it when he returns also feel free to pm and tell him about your suggestion. Its better to comment on what you think would improve it than to just not post and don't say why so I appreciate your saying something. Until then just post everything on Misc. - thats why I do when I'm not sure where it goes. :)

For those of you who aren't aware there are some more stories to view on Echoes that have been on there less than a week. There may also be some more added next week by me. If anyone has any other suggestions about Echoes feel free to speak. Thanks!

I vehemetely disagree. I like the organization .. this site needs it as well. Common sense tells you what category things go in.

I love the organization as well! The site is great, but since I come to this one everyday, I guess it's more convenient to post here. But I will definetly try to post there more often. I do love the site, EOF!!! It's the best Unsolved Mysteries site I have seen on the web! :D

I agree with you about there being too many categories. I am personally not a fan of boards with many many different categories to post in, as checking each for new messages could be a hassle. On the other hand though, i do kind of like the organization of each different category that is relevant to the various Unsolved Mysteries segments, plus other people seem to like the format, so i think it's probably something i'd get used to over time.
