Is it because you want to hear her say-"SEND IN THE CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-lol

PS-i have to admit, she was very UGLY-lol I don;t like talking about nobody but she looked like the part of the polariod that you tear off. It was a good thing her singing took the attention away from her face

Oh, you so mean!!!!! Glad you said it and not me!!!!! BUT YOU ARE SO RIGHT ON ABT THAT!!!!!!! You know, her voice matched her looks. It was so annoying. I can't even begin to describe it. Can someone come up with a good way to describe her voice. Her talking voice and her singing voice are two different ugly noises.

As Willona would say, "ain't that a blip?"
You're not in your right mind if you hate the Isleys and love Judy Cohen.

I'm convinced, everytime I watch this episode, this is Good Times at its lowest point. There isn't a more NON-Good Times episode than this. I try not to hate it each time I watch it, but it just doesn't work. Send In The Clowns??? UGHHH!!!

It's weird but I love this episode too. Everytime I watch my DVD of it I have to go back and hear her sing that song 2 or 3 times. I think she just showed her skills in entertaining a crown by getting you all hyped up and excited with the first part, then brought you down and had a sad, heartfelt part in there, then brought you back up with a strong, happy, exciting finish. That's pretty talented if you ask me.

I'm sorry everybody, but I gotta hang in there with Retro on Judy Cohen. Y'all should watch that episode again, all of it. It has a good moral in it to me. It fits in with all the hard decisions the Evans had to go through trying to deal with certain situations. Come on y'all.

P.S. Retro, Your wrong about "The Baby" though. I think your just bias and don't like it cause James is not in it.

Craftman, That's what I think a lot of Good Times fans doesn't see when they watch this episode. That it had a good moral in it and that's why it always grabbed me.

Hey Retro, maybe you don't see the moral of "The Baby". They had to bring in somebody with the situation of the story line. You know, on welfare, husband just died, already got two kids to take care of, and having another baby, and trying to decide whether to keep it or give it up for adoption, that's what the story line was about. Now who could they use for that situation that we all knew. NOBODY.

And if you think about it, how much screen time did Judy Cohen have for her first and only appearance on the show? Again, they have to bring in people to have a story surrounding them.

Oh, I just thought of this too, not to get all over your case but, you know when Penny came in the show, that was to address child abuse. And it's funny because you feel she didn't have a purpose after her 4 shows, so do you think Loretta or Judy would have had a purpose if they showed up again? JMO, but I don't think so, cause they served their purpose, almost like you feel like Penny served her purpose and wasn't needed anymore.

Thank you, thank you very much. :)

I just don't know what to say about you Irene. Sometimes you remind me of Florida. (That's a compliment). Always trying to keep the peace and letting people say their say, and taking it for what it is and 'moving on'.

Well, I do have three kids. Just like Florida. So I am used to trying to keep the peace. LOL. My two daughters are way older, so they are not babies anymore, but I have a 3 year old son. Man, I need a break. That's why I come here. You guys crack me up. I know we don't agree, but we need to just take it easy and understand. I don't care for the Judy episode, but I do like how JJ takes an interest in her career. I felt sorry for him when he got jerked around by that man.
