TV Land Canada (http://www.tvlandcanada.com/) has Announced their Fall Line-Up with 5 new shows. They have also announced possible additions for their Winter 2006 schedule on their Chum Limited Website (http://www.chumlimited.com/).
Fall 2005 Schedule
Dallas

Smith & Smith
Comedy Mill
Hawaii Five-O
Planned Winter 2006 Schedule (Subjected to Change)
CHiPs
Emergency
The Odd Couple
Starsky and Hutch
WKRP in Cincinnati
I was hoping for more new shows, but oh well. That is what my Free-to Air satellite dish is for-- in case I get dissappointed. ;) :p

This new schedule is actually a step backwards, fewer shows and more repeats of each one it seems. The possible additions are interesting though, especially WKRP - now that's a great show.
They should have some timeslots like the US TV Land once did, called the "Kitschen" or something similar. Then show a few episodes of some rarely seen shows like these:
Ghost & Mrs. Muir
My World And Welcome To It
Nanny and the Professor
Please Don't Eat The Daisies
To Rome With Love
I could list a whole bunch more examples, but you get the idea. Many people seem to remember shows like these yet they never get rerun anywhere for some reason.

I agree. Too few good shows, not enough variety, and way too much of what is known as 'Canadian Content'. Here's the full daily schedule:

Like Jenya mentioned, there are a few new shows like "Dallas" and "Perry Mason", but this also means that others like "Family Ties", "Sanford & Son", "Mork & Mindy", and "Get Smart" (the only 1960s sitcom featured on this channel, if you can believe it!) are now gone.
Like PRIME & DejaView, for me this represents one step forward and 2 steps back. Unlike those channels, who clearly have no idea what they're doing and obviously don't have the viewers' interests at heart, there is something you can do in this case, something which is ridiculously simple.
At the bottom of the TV Land Canada Homepage (http://www.tvlandcanada.com/index.php), there is a small slot which says "Suggest A Show". In that slot, just type in the name of any shows that you wish to see and press "Submit". You'll get a message thanking you for your request which hopefully (we can only pray) will not go unnoticed and a prompt to continue surfing the site. The fun part is you can type in any number of shows as many times as you wish. The more submissions, the better. Will this actually work? Who knows, but I'll let you know anyway. Stay tuned to this board for any possible changes.
