Like a month ago or so I came on here and said I got a new temp. job working at an internet company that sells/distributes Halloween costumes. Well, I wasn't sure when I'd be starting and I have been waiting. Well, I called today (I was tentatively going to start last week, but didn't) and said I'm getting anxious and asked when I'd be starting! Well, he said they only need 10 people tomorrow and they do have 10, BUT he's pretty sure there will be one person who won't show up and I can come as like an understudy! Tomorrow is just like the training and then I'll start next week at the beginning of the week (not sure if i'll work labor day?) for real. Or else if I don't train tomorrow I start next Thursday. Then I'm going on vacation!

I'm a bit nervous and excited, too!

I'll be working in the customer service department taking phone calls from people. Since it's CS, that means those phone calls will be [most likely] complaints from people! eek! That's the part I'm NOT looking forward too.

so how'd it go??

I actually ended up NOT starting today! The only bad thing is I drove all the way there and found it out! It was kind of a bad communications thing with the guy and another lady. Yeah, my parents were more upset than me (since I use my mom's car to get there and you know how gas prices are). Well, we figured it was just a mix up.

Well, when I got there I told the lady I was going on vacation the week of the 12-16th. I guess she didn't know that and she decided with the guy that it's best that I start fresh after I get back from my vacation! So, that's like Sept. 22nd. So, now instead of like 2 months or more at the job I'll only have like 6 weeks at it! I still have my other job til the end of Sept. Once November comes (unless I start looking really hard for a permanant job) I won't have a job then!
