1)First someone explain the meaning/origin of "England or Bust /Burst" painted on the Koach. A google search of "England or bust" shows 264 references but is there a historical or specific reference to this phrase and what about the burst addition?

The hand on Lily's shoulder was either a moment in the scene that was in the script and filmed but was not used or someone pulling a prank on Yvonne DeCarlo...?
The "Or bust" expression I heard before but I've never known what it means. The substituting burst for bust I don't get.

I'm guessing that in England they say burst rather than bust. (Like tom-A-to and tom-AH-to.)

The monster hands on Lily were probably, as Laugh30 said, a filmed scene that didn't make the final cut.

The woman? Who knows? Maybe a stand in OR one of the crew OR the wife of one of the cast/crew. It was, of course, completely uncredited.

I Don't get the Burst or Bust thing either... and I'm English!! Hee...heee....

When somebody says, "Someplace or Bust", that means "I'll get their, even if it kills me".

As for changing it to "burst", I really don't see any significance in why they would change it.

Maybe it means.....

Perhaps the burst is a reference to Herman, because there are many episodes where it is mentioned about him bursting or blowing his top etc, where then someone would say no don't do that you remember what a mess it made last time etc. So maybe they will get to England, even if it kills them.. or in Hermans case bursts etc...

Well that's my best guess on the subject.. you see what I'm getting at?
