I had trouble with these questions on my AP history summer assignment. These are basically about the Renaissance in Italy

What new social class developed in twefth-century Italy? How did this social class affect the movement toward republican government?

Why is the reign of Ferdinand and Isabella one of the most important in Spanish history?

How is Cesare Borgia a new monarch?

Yes I do my homework I just can't find the answers to these. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know the answers, but I Googled and came up with several sites. One for each:

What new social class developed in twefth-century Italy? How did this social class affect the movement toward republican government?
A lot of reading, but it may have an answer in there somewhere:

Why is the reign of Ferdinand and Isabella one of the most important in Spanish history?
They combined two kingdoms, and became quite strong and influential:

How is Cesare Borgia a new monarch?
Perhaps a reference to Machiavelli's "The Prince" (which I have never read). Some believe that Cesare Borgia was the model for the lead character, a "new" prince.
