It did seem at times Bea was uncomfortable with what was being said. On the other hand, one who has attended these roasts, should know that they are walking into one of the raunchiest things that one can go to. What I find appalling is the fact that Courtney Love was at the event (obvious) and she was allowed to use this event as credit towards HER COMMUNITY SERVICE???????? Now what kind of community service allows one to be under the influence of God knows what??????? What a shame ON THAT SITUATION!!!!!!!!

I did catch a Hole concert at a club early in the band's career. God, was she screwed up. I'm surprised Courtney Love is still even alive. She had a fit and started beating on this kid in the pit because she said he grabbed her____________. She jumped back up onstage and started trashing everything. :guitar:

Yeah, I read abt that incident. I can't understand that woman. I only have pity for her because she is not sober. She is still in denial. I remember how happy I was for her when she got her acting career going and she dressed so beautiful, had her hair done up so nice. She looked great and healthy. Her antics on the roast were outrageous. It seems she was getting more "roast" than Pam. People were capping on her left and right.

I remember watching some of that several years ago, and it seems to me Carson Daly saying something outrageous (not saying it here) with Bea Arthur's (D::K). I was totally taken aback. That was bull**** and way over the line. If I was Bea Arthur's son or husband, I would kick that little punk's ass.

You don't make that insult to a woman, no manner how manly she looks.

You know, I watched the rerun of that roast, and caught the part where Bea was roasting Pam, she was so funny when she was reading an excerpt from one of Pam's books, and she was mentioning um sex, but the "booty" kind. etc. anyways,she seemed so into it and everything. I was laughing so hard cuz the look on Bea's face was so damn serious. Whether she was highly offended later on for what was being said in reference to her, I am still trying to find out.
