I heard from my friend, that Nickelodeon has canceled All That. There will be no new episodes of All That, instead Nickelodeon will just air reruns of the show, like they do with the Amanda show right now.

If this is true, why was the show canceled? Maybe like with other Nick show and Disney shows, they made enough episodes, they decided it be less expensive, to just air reruns.

My friend is pretty realiable on these things, Nickelodeon does not issue press releases about canceled shows. They just don't produce new episodes, and let the show slowly fade away. We will see if there are any new episodes of All That.

I stand corrected. Before this season Nickelodeon did order 13 episodes of All That, all 13 episodes have already been shot. So far, they have only aired 5 new episodes.

So that means, there are still 8 new episodes of All That yet to air before they close shop.

It usually takes years and years for shows to fade away from Nick. The Angry Beavers was in reruns for like, 5 years after it was cancelled, same with other shows.

Unfortunitely there are more new episodes to come. It says next season will be the last season of All That. There are still a few more new episodes to air this season. So that means there is 1 and half more seasons of All That, before it closes shop for good.

I also found out from this website, that rumor is the next shows to follow Clarissa Explains It All, and the Adventures of Pete and Pete in the Nick rewind collection are All That, Kenan and Kel, and Figure It Out. They are schedule to be released in 06. That info I put in the DVD page. Here is what they said about All That cancelation.

Apperently the reason All That was canceled was age on the cast. This season was very much like the 6th season, key castmembers were ready to leave, and getting to old, and Nickelodeon decided not to greatly recast like they did for the 7th season, and cut the show loose. Here is what she had to say.

Somebody went on wikipedia.com (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_That) the other day to change what I put about Lisa Foiles. Apparently, that wasn't the real who wrote that stuff about "All That" officially on the verge of getting cancelled:

First of all I have not heard anything, no press release nothing about Nickelodeon ordering more episodes of All That for next season. It is the new year, if they were going to order new episodes, they would have done it by now. While they have not been an official announcement that the show has been canceled, the non news of Nickelodeon ordering new episodes, leads me to beleive that the show is canceled. Nickelodeon normally does not announce they have canceled a show, they just don't order new episodes.

Anyway now that I have said that, I have some news. There will be new episodes of All That in 2006, sort of. According to an All That fan site that KristenHerraFan mentioned, Nickelodeon will air a bunch of Best Of episodes of the new All That.

It will probably be Best Of castmembers episodes. I expect they will air the best of Jamie Lynn Spears first, and that episode will be the most repeated Best Of the new All That castmembers that air on Nickelodeon.

Finally, in January 2006, Nickelodeon and creator/producer of the show Dan Schneider officially decided to cancel All That after ten seasons. According to Schneider, Nickelodeon said the that show was cancelled because of the "lack of writing."

I have some major news about All That's future at Nickelodeon. As we all know the show is canceled, and there are plans for Best Of the New All That episodes to air this summer.

Well plans for the Best Of's have been scrapped. The episodes that aired on October 22nd 2005 will be the last original episode of All That to air ever.

Nickelodeon plans of airing season 10 reruns for the next year, and than All That will be off the air period.

However Nickelodeon is thinking of editing the 10th Anniversery Reunion special to 30 minutes and airing it as part of the season 10 rerun cycle. I guess you could consider that a new episode.

As much as it pains me to say this, I'm starting to agree that "All That" needs to be put to rest. "All That" has arguably been past its prime (and been gradually gone downhill quality-wise and creatively) ever since the end of Season 5. What's most unfortunately I think is how the show really went out on a whimper. The 10th anniversary reunion special should've been the last episode to be produced/aired. Instead, the reunion special just served as a prelude for Season 10. From there, we (or at least myself) got the impression that there would be more "All That" in the years to come.

it kinda sucks that Nick is pulling the plug on it all together. they should really put it on like Saturday or Sunday nights for reruns, and showing all of the 10 seasons.

Personally im not surprised. After the first cast members left the show(especially Kenan Tompson and Kel Mitchell) the show started to suck. Eventually it was just unbelievably horrible. This new season is the worst ever. They ran out of ideas!

I have to give props to All That for lasting that long on Nick, normally shows on Nick go 60 episodes and its reruns forever, then you are bumped to early mornings and then completely off the air. Personally, I liked Roundhouse better than All That.
