As a child, like others, I was frightened by death and it seemed kinda ghoulish. The old guy talking about dying and then passing away in that chair gave me chills. And like I mentioned before it still does in way but not as bad as when I was younger. This show was covering issues I was not exposed to when younger and the mood seemed so gloomy on the show as times, people dying in chairs, drunk cousins, burnt children with irons. It was a little too much for me. I should have waited a few years to see some of those episodes.

I'm just glad when I was 7, Good Times was off the air because i know how i would have been-lol I couldn;t even sleep when George jefferson was stabbed in the alley in 1982, and I was 7-lol
